Sound as Origin
Music is the starting point of all work at Bit Bites Brain.
Long before narrative formats and written work, sound served as a tool for structure, timing, atmosphere and emotional precision.
Through extensive work across catalogue-based production, media usage and long-form formats, music became a way of thinking. Not a genre, but a system.
This musical foundation informs all narrative development today: rhythm, pacing, tension, silence and continuity.
Sound is not added to stories. It shapes them.
STORY
Narrative Work
Current narrative projects are rooted in music-driven, autobiographical and collective-biographical material.
The first works in development draw from lived scenes, close creative environments and personal histories, using music not as decoration but as narrative engine, social context and emotional structure.
These stories explore identity, friendship, ambition and coming-of-age ruptures within cultural movements, translated into cinematic and long-form narrative formats.
Background
Work developed at Bit Bites Brain has been used internationally across film, television, advertising and broadcast media.
Over several decades, an extensive body of music productions and spoken-word works has been created and released, spanning catalogue-based releases, long-form projects and large-scale production music catalogues.
This includes hundreds of individual releases and contributions across albums, multi-volume editions and professional library catalogues, with substantial usage in radio and television advertising, broadcast programming, professional media environments and selected feature film contexts. Many of these works continue to generate usage through active production music libraries today.
Production and publishing work has taken place within established international industry ecosystems, including collaborations connected to Warner Music, Sony ATV Publishing and BMG UFA.
Catalogue & Media Context
Catalogue-based production music work spans professional library environments historically associated with Selected Sound, later integrated into KPM and now part of the global Extreme Music ecosystem.
Alongside catalogue and media work, Bit Bites Brain has produced audiobooks, long-form audio projects and a wide range of remix and collaboration work, including chart-affiliated releases and international co-productions.
Current activity includes curated catalogue continuity as well as selected retrospective releases via Mechanica Records.
